Help Kijana Kumbucha Buy a Sticker Printing Machine

Kijana Kumbucha is a locally produced Malawian beverage made by Kijana Enterprise, a growing agribusiness and food manufacturing business.

Our Kumbucha is currently produced in Ginger and Chidede (Hibiscus) varieties and is already reaching customers through local shops and wholesale outlets.

As production grows, one of the costs we face repeatedly is the production of product stickers.

We currently depend on externally printed stickers for our bottles. This means every new production batch requires us to purchase stickers in advance, adding to our working-capital requirements and making it harder to respond quickly when demand increases.

We want to change that.

We are raising MK2,500,000 to purchase a sticker printing machine for Kijana Kumbucha.

Having our own printing equipment will give us greater control over an important part of our production process. Instead of continually outsourcing small and medium sticker orders, we will be able to produce labels as needed for our production batches.

The machine will support:

• Printing Kijana Kumbucha product stickers
• More flexible production planning
• Reduced dependence on external printing services
• Faster preparation of labels for new production batches
• Greater capacity to develop packaging for additional Kijana products
