Help Us Finish a Secondary School Block at Mantchewe

This campaign aims to raise funds to complete a two-classroom secondary school block at Mantchewe  in Livingstonia, Rumphi District, Malawi. Our fellow youths from  Mantchewe walk long distances about 1 hour to access secondary education up the hill to Livingstonia. We, at Rise for Phoka Community Foundation wants to help change this situation by bringing quality secondary education closer to their homes, giving local children a better opportunity to continue learning.

The school block already has its roof on and internal plastering completed, with initial support from a well-wisher. At the moment now, we need your support to finish the floor, outside plastering, doors and windows, and painting so that the classrooms can be prepared for learning. Our total budget for the remaining work is K10,350,000, and our first fundraising target is K5,000,000.

The school will initially offer Forms One and Three through a private section with fair and affordable school fees. The income generated will help cover school administration costs and teachers' salaries, supporting the school's long-term sustainability.
